Help Our Cause

 Every year on the weekend before Thanksgiving, the Lakes Area Cruisers Car Club has a car show in Jasper at Super 8 on US 96 N. Seventy-five to one hundred cars of all makes and ages are displayed and the entrance fee for car admirers is zero. It is a great show and lots of fun. Money received from the drivers is distributed to charities in the area. On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, the Cruisers 

 Newton Food Share received a donation on February 18th from the United Methodist Church of the Pines. Physically located in Jasper but serving Deep East Texas, Including Newton. Shown in the picture are Jamie and White and Pastor Jerry Neff handing check to Joe Miller, Newton Food Share. This is one good way to minister to the community, by providing food to hungry people.
